Conduction, Convection, and Radiation
What is Conduction, Convection, and Radiation? Conduction is when thermal energy is transferred by collisions between particles. For example an volcano can be conduction because the energy is pushed up by heat. Convection is when the transfer of thermal energy moves one place to another. In fact, convection only occurs when its liquids or gas. Radiation is when thermal energy is transferred by electromagnetic waves.
